Hi, I'm Amanda and I would like to introduce you to a new world of book-keeping; a friendly, professional, non-jargon service for all businesses.

Accounts by Amanda was established in November 2003 after training and receiving certificate from The Institute of Certified Book-Keepers.

I have built up clients from all walks of life with businesses ranging from tattooists to caterers.

Accounts by Amanda understands that maintaining accurate book-keeping and accounting records is important if you wish to run an efficient business. Especially if you are new to business, book-keeping, payroll, VAT and tax returns can be a daunting prospect.

I provide book-keeping, VAT, payroll and completion of tax returns and most of all peace of mind.

The idea of dealing with accountants puts the hebbie jeebbies into some people, thinking they are going to be given a hard time over their tax affairs.

Jargon Free Information

Unlike some accountants I have a relaxed attitude, treating all clients as equal regardless how large or small their business may be. I try to give information in a way that can be easily understood and which is jargon-free. The thought of contacting the Inland Revenue puts people off sorting out important details but I can act as an agent on your behalf and liaise with Inland Revenue to sort out your Tax, PAYE and VAT queries for you.

Inland Revenue deadlines become my worry instead of yours, giving you more time to concentrate on your own business. Book-keeping is not a difficult process but can be time consuming which, at the end of a hard day's work, can prove soul destroying.

When the Tax Return or VAT Return drops on your doorstep it is just so easy to put it in the pending tray to deal with another day. Then the deadline approaches and panic sets in. I can take care of it for you, just send the paperwork to me and your headache will disappear!

I am able to provide a service at the fraction of the cost of purchasing expensive software systems or employing someone on site. I think you will find me fees are within most small businesses budgets compared to some larger accountants fees.

If you feel that your business has grown enough to take on new members of staff but the thought of payroll is putting you off, to complement our book-keeping, a payroll service is also available from Accounts by Amanda.

When I have acted as your book-keeper gathering and have prepared your business accounts, the completion of your tax return will be easier and quicker and the tax return can be completed on-line. Due to my completing the tax return on-line you will know immediately if you are due a tax refund should there be any or how much tax is owed to the Inland Revenue and when. The same applies to VAT.
